USTA Information and Workshops
United States Tennis Association
The USTA is the national governing body for the sport of tennis in the United States and is a not-for-profit organization with more than 675,000 members. It owns and operates the US Open and selects the teams for the Davis Cup, Fed Cup and the Olympics and Paralympic Games.
USTA Eastern Section
The Suffolk County Junior Tennis League promotes tennis participation at all levels.
We encourage all juniors (18 and under) and adults (everyone else) to aspire to participate in USTA Sanctioned tournaments and earn a USTA ranking.
The following information is provided to educate everyone about USTA tournaments and rankings.
Recreational Coach Workshops
A Recreational Coach Workshop is an interactive, on-court training program designed for tennis teachers and coaches
working with players at the recreational level.
QuickStart Tennis
QuickStart Tennis using the new 10 and Under Tennis play format is like Little League Baseball and other youth sports such as soccer and basketball. These youth sports employ smaller equipment and fields/courts so that kids can achieve success the first time out—and sustain that success every time they play.
