Tennis coach to serve on men's and women's selection

Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook men's and women's tennis coach Gary Glassman has been appointed as a member of the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Committee. Glassman will serve on the committee from September 01, 2005, and through September 01, 2009 and will be responsible for selecting the field to play in the mens' and women's NCAA Tournament each spring.

In addition to his service on the national committee, Glassman is also the Chairman of the Northeast Regional Committee that is responsible for rankings and nominations for the Northeast Region. and a Member of the new USTA Eastern Section Collegiate Tennis Committee.
